New Delhi: After the culmination of India’s tour to Sri Lanka, wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson is currently enjoying his time off from cricket. Samson was part of India’s T20I squad for the three-match series against the Lankans in Pallekele. However, the batter was not able to to make a mark as he got out on two consecutive ducks in the games he played.
The 29-year-old player was not considered for the ODI leg of the tour, which India lost against the home side. Nevertheless, the cricketer, who’s full of energy and passion and remains mostly unaffected by the negative happenings, was recently spotted playing a sport other than cricket. While many cricketer’s in the past have revealed their interest for sports other than cricket, Samson too gave his fans a hint of what he likes to play other than cricket.

In a recent video on social media site X, Sanju Samson was spotted playing football that too on a basketball court on rainy evening. The video sparked speculations among the fans and provided a hint that their favourite cricketer playing soccer on a wet basketball court clearly given an indication that his next favourite sport would be football.
Sanju Samson was seen absolutely delightful as he enjoyed a game of soccer with his friends on a pleasant evening.

Sanju Samson was part of India’s T20 World Cup-winning team but was not given a single game to play and was made to sit out in place of Rishabh Pant, who was preferred by the selectors. the Kerala cricketer was even not picked in the Duleep Trophy squad, which was announced a couple of days back.
