New Delhi: Team India’s explosive batter Rinku Singh, who has been in the limelight since his exploits in the Indian Premier League 2023, has surely become a fan favorite in the past few months. Ranging from his on-field heroics to his personal life he likes to showcase on Instagram, Rinku has come a long way belonging to a family that once struggled to make ends meet. Turning the fortunes, Rinku’s recent social media activity has brought all the spotlight onto him yet again.
This time, he was spotted with an ‘unknown’, ‘mystery’ girl during the second-string Team India’s recent wildlife tour in Harare. As the whole of the Indian contingent toured the exceptional wildlife reserve in Harare, Rinku was seen having some time off with a girl as a selfie video of the two broke the internet. Fans guessed who the girl could be with several of them dishing upon if she was someone special for the star batter.
Both smiled in the short video as they shared a light-hearted moment with the sun shining bright on them as they tried to block the direct sun rays against the stunning backdrop of Harare.

The rumours were settled when it was known that the girl was none other than Shubman Gill’s sister Shahneel Gill, who is accompanying her brother on the ongoing Zimbabwe tour. With most of the Indian cricketers travelling with their families, Gill too took his sister with him for the five-match T20I series in the African nation.
Last year, Rinku Singh made headlines when he posed for a shirtless picture during his Maldives tour which gained attention from Shahneel as she playfully commented, “Oh hero,” adding some fun to the post.

Shahneel Gill is a social media influencer boasting over 387K followers on her Instagram account and is a corporate employee as well. She is often seen in the company of his brother, travelling with him for international tours and she was a regular during Gujarat Titans’ (GT) games in the IPL 2024, gracing the stands with other GT players’ families. She often posts pictures with her brother, notably teasing him and vice-versa, displaying the perfect and heartwarming brother-sister bond.
