New Delhi: WWE Bad Blood pay-per-view has been a successful event as fans witnessed the return of some top WWE superstars. One of the legends of the game and Former Hall of Famer Goldberg also made his return to the ring. Bill Goldberg was spotted sitting at the ringside along with his son enjoying the action of WWE Bad Blood.
In a segment of WWE’s COO Triple H, he explained the rules of the next WWE big event Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. Later, Triple H was confronted by WWE Heavyweight Champion Gunther. Gunther started mocking Goldberg who was sitting outside the ring calling him a ‘one trick pony’.
Goldberg didn’t like the phrase and got everyone’s attention by jumping the barricade and making his entrance to the ring. But eventually, Sami Zayn took the advantage and attacked Gunther from the backside. Goldberg also declared ‘Gunther is next’.
This phrase got every fan a moment about when 57-year-old Goldberg made his return to the ring. Later, in the post-conference of Bad Blood, Triple H was asked about the possible return of Goldberg to WWE. WWE COO replied, “Everybody got older but it doesn’t mean it’s impossible”.
Goldberg fought his last fight almost three years ago in the SummerSlam pay-per-view in February 2022. Goldberg was fighting for the WW Universal Championship against the original tribal chief Roman Reigns but he lost the fight.
Triple H announces two big matches at Crown Jewel
Crown Jewel is set for November 3 in Saudi Arabia. Triple H announced two blockbuster matches of Crown Jewel at the WWE Bad Blood event. WWE Undisputed Champion will take on WWE World Heavyweight Champion and WWE Women’s champion will take on WWE Women’s world champion at Crown Jewel. None of the titles will be on the line at Crown Jewel but whoever wins the matches will be declared as the Crown Jewel championship.
