New Delhi: Riyadh has become the new combat sports highlight place for the biggest fights in Boxing, MMA, and WWE. Now Riyadh is all set to host WWE’s biggest pay-per-view Crown Jewel on November 2, Saturday. WWE has been hosting Crown Jewel in Riyadh since 2018.
Crown Jewel has become one of the prestigious WWE events. WWE signed a deal with Saudi’s Ministry of Sport with a 10-year partnership. Crown Jewel is taking place before the Survivor series for the last 5-6 years. WWE treats Crown Jewel as a premium live event same as Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series. Triple H also announces two special matches for this year’s Crown Jewel.
WWE Champion in RAW and WWE Champion in Smackdown will collide against each other to become the Crown Jewel champion. Also, In the women’s category WWE Champion in RAW will take on WWE Champion in Smackdown. The current WWE champion in the men’s category is Cody Rhodes in RAW and Gunther in Smackdown. In women’s Liv Morgan and Nia Jax will be against each other.
It will be the first time since 2019 that Roman Reigns will not included in the main event of Crown Jewel. But fans can expect the special appearance of the Tribal Chief in the main event. WWE Crown Jewel will witness some big stars’ surprise comeback every year.
When and Where will Crown Jewel will happen?
The Crown Jewel will be held in Mohammed Abdu Arena, Riyadh on November 2, Saturday. The Abdu Arena has a capacity of 22,00 fans, this arena hosted Crown Jewel in 2021 and 2023. The main card will kick off in India from 10;30 pm IST.
