New Delhi: The blue brand of WWE started to build hype before the Elimination Chamber premium live event in 2025. Royal Rumble 2025 winner Jey Uso addressed fans and thanked them and in reply, fans started chanting ‘You deserve it’.
WWE Undisputed champion Cody Rhodes also made his way to the ring and faced off with the Royal Rumble 2025 winner. Rhodes also tasted victory in the Royal Rumble event as he defeated Kevin Owens in a ladder match to retain his championship.
Drew McIntyre also returned in the Smackdown and said WWE RAW was a toxic place to work and stated some cuss words for the WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce.
Smackdown’s general manager Nick Aldis invited McIntyre to the blue brand and give him freedom to do whatever he wanted to do. Jimmy Uso’s music hits and he interrupts McIntyre and after LA Knight also makes his way to the ring.
Elimination Chamber qualifying match was set up between McIntyre, Knight, and Jimmy in a triple threat match. Jimmy and McIntyre targeted Knight in the start but Knight was in control and attacked both wrestlers.
In a hard-fought contest, McIntyre emerged victorious and joined Punk and Cena in the Elimination Chamber match in 2025. After the match, Smackdown also announced the final Elimination Chamber qualifying match.
Damian Priest vs Braun Strowman vs Jacob Fatu match is set up for the final Elimination Chamber qualifying match in a triple threat bout.
Rhodes and Jey teamed up against Fatu and Tonga in the main event of the Smackdown episode. Rhodes and Jey defeated the Bloodline family but after the match, Solo Sikoa made his return and attacked Rhodes.
