New Delhi: WWE Smackdown kick start with clips of Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens. Nick Aldis addressed the feud between Rhodes and Owens in the newest episode of Smackdown at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida on December 28, Saturday. Aldis gave a speech on why Owens is not a champion in WWE.
After that, Sami Zayn and Carmelo Hayes match was set and ended in a no contest because The bloodline interfered the match and attacked Zayn. The Bloodline raised their hands and were celebrating and then Owens music hit and he made his entrance to the arena again.
Owens and Aldis addressed the issue between him and Rhodes and Owens asked himself a WWE Undisputed championship rematch with a special speculation in the match, where referee couldn’t intervened in the match.
Rhodes made his entrance to the ring and Aldis suggested him not to push in the conversation. Rhodes refused to walk away from the ring and gave an offer to Owens as he wanted a championship match where refree cannot stop him.
Rhodes and Aldis agreed to give a ladder match to Owens in the Royal Rumble 2025 event to settle their things. Owens said “it sounds great to him” and extended his hand to shake but Rhodes refused and then Smackdown episode goes off air.
Chelsea Green’s United State championship celebration commenced with four flags of US stood behind her. Green is the longest reigning women’s US champion. Michin interfered the celebration of Green as she came out with a kendo stick. Green ducked the attack from Michin and walked back to the backstage.
