New Delhi: The Smackdown night started with Drew McIntyre battling against Jimmy Uso in a singles match. The Scottish warrior was dominating the match and was beating the hell out of Jimmy in the fight but at last, Jimmy rolled up McIntyre and smartly won the match.
Fans were waiting for The Rock to return and his music hit and made his entrance to the ring. The Rock received a huge cheer from the crowd and also got a standing ovation from the fans.
The Rock officially announced that next year’s WrestleMania to be hosted by Superdome New Orleans on April 12 and 13 2026. He also called out WWE Undisputed champion Cody Rhodes and stated him as a part of one Royal family.
Rhodes made his way to the ring and both The Rock and Rhodes hugged and the people’s champ gave a kiss on the cheek of Rhodes. The last time both superstars met was on the Netflix episode and now both met on Smackdown.
The Rock advised the champion to become more than a champion and Rhodes replied that his only goal is to bring happiness and joy to the half of a billion people face.
The Rock’s goal was to face Roman Reigns for the WWE Championship and he discussed the plans with Triple H also but Triple H muted that time. The Rock advised him to go home and he wanted an answer from the champion’s side at Elimination Chamber 2025.
The Elimination Chamber match will open up the answer that who will challenge Rhodes for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41. John Cena and CM Punk already announced their participation and now The Rock also confirmed his presence at the Elimination Chamber 2025.
