New Delhi: Team India captain Rohit Sharma’s wife Ritika wrote an emotional message for Former Indian head coach Rahul Dravid who stepped down from his position after Rohit Sharma and Co. defeated South Africa in the final and ended India’s long-standing ICC trophy drought. Gautam Gambhir has been appointed as the new head coach of Team India.
Ten days after the final Indian skipper Rohit Sharma shared a special post for Rahul Dravid on his official Instagram handle. Ritika also shared the same post on her Instagram story and said that Dravid will be missed by the entire family, especially by their daughter Samaira.
“So many emotions! You mean so much to our entire family. You will be missed so much. I think Sammy will miss you most of all,” wrote Ritika in her Instagram story.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Indian skipper paid tribute to the Former head coach and wrote that he has no words to express his feelings “I have been trying to find the right words to properly express my feelings on this but I’m not sure I ever will”.
“You are an absolute stalwart of this game but you left all of your accolades and achievements at the door and walked in as our coach and came on a level where we all felt comfortable enough to say just about anything to you” Rohit wrote on his Instagram post.
Rohit also wrote that his wife calls the Former India head coach his ‘work wife’ and he is lucky to call him that “My wife (Ritika Sajdeh) refers to you as my work wife and I am lucky to get to call you that too” Rohit wrote.
KL Rahul to lead in ODI series vs Sri Lanka
Team India will take on Sri Lanka in the three-match ODI and T20I series and KL Rahul will lead the team, as per reports. Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah have been rested for the tour after their World Cup winning performance. The trio will return when the Men in Blue willl face Bangladesh in the two-match home test series in September.
