‘I’ve always believed performance defines a player, not PR’: Wriddhiman Saha

Saha in an interview with Sportstar said that throughout his career, he always believed that it is performance that defines a player and not PR. He further said that at times, he felt that he should have prioritised himself over the team than his statistics might have looked better.

“But for me, the team always came first. I could have played fewer matches, but self-promotion was never my thing, and I’m glad I never had to change who I was” Saha told Sportstar.

India fast bowler Mohammed Shami has congratulated Wriddhiman Saha for leaving an ‘indelible mark’ on cricket after his call to retire.  Cricket Sports News: Latest Cricket News, Cricket Live Score, Sports Breaking News from Sports Today
