Bayern Munich took full control of the game in the last second when Leon Goretzka’s cross after an incredible piece of control, allowed the English forward to head home into an empty net. It was an excetional win against Augsburg, inspired by the lethal attacking mentality of Harry Kane, who now moves up to 14 league goals for the season. This win meant that Bayerns are sitting top of the league, unbeaten with 29 points on the board, eight points clear of second place RB Leipzig who will be playing Hoffenheim today.
It will be interesting to see if Bayern can carry this run of for till the very end of the season, avoiding any sort of slip-ups from the top.
