UEFA Champions League: Match day 6 key fixtures list and live streaming details

New Delhi: Matchday six of the UEFA Champions League 2024/25 is all set to get underway this evening. The new format of the tournament has already produced exciting results with the points table placed in an exciting place. After five rounds, there is little clarity on who will remain in the direct qualification spots, with many teams in contention for finishing in the top eight.

Defending champions Real Madrid are placed in 24th place after five games with just two wins and three losses so far. Topping the table are Liverpool, who have won all five of their games in the competition. Following them closely is Juventus who are undefeated and played only one draw so far.

Girona vs Liverpool (11:15 PM IST December 10th)

Girona will face Liverpool, who are currently at the top of the table. They have been in amazing form under new manager Arne Slot. Liverpool are also leading in the Premier League, with a four-point lead despite a draw and a game yet to be played. They have been one of the strongest-looking Premier League sides. In UEFA, they boast of having one of the best defence records, maintaining four clean sheets.

Playing in their first Champions League ever, Girona have managed to win only once, with a 2-0 win over Slovan Bratislava. Girona are currently placed 30th and are close to crashing out of the tournament. They are coming into the fixture after a 3-0 loss to Real Madrid in the weekend.

Bayer Leverkusen vs Inter Milan (1:30 AM IST December 11th)

Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen may not have been as succesful as they had been in the last season, they have been decent in both domestic and the continent league as they start their fixture at sixth place. Leverkusen have won five games in a row across competitions, with a 2-1 win over St Pauli last weekend.

They are going to face Inter Mila, who are undefeated in the tournament so far and are currently placed second in the table. They have managed their last four league games keeping clean sheets in each of them. If they manage to do the same, they are on the verge of becoming the first team who would have conceded no goals after six games in the Champions League.

Borussia vs Germany (1:30 AM IST December 12th)

The game between Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona will be gaining a lot of focus on gameweek six. Both sides have been scoring at a rapid pace with Barca outfit already having scored 50 goals in La Liga. Under Hansi Flick, the side has made brilliant progress, leading in the top flight of Spanish football and have even won every game since their opening defeat to Monaco.

Both the teams have only once in the tournament and are placed in the top four, with Barceolna ahead of the German outfit just by goal difference. Dortmund have an opportunity to win the first five of their six games in the competition, a first for them since the 1997 season. At home in Westfalenstadion, they have won eight of their nine games, with Bayern Munich managing a draw at the venue.
