New Delhi: YouTube sensation Jake Paul is all set to battle out against boxing legend Mike Tyson. Paul is fighting double his age fighter but Tyson is a legend of combat sports and looking in great shape ahead of his fight against Paul.
Paul vs Tyson will be the first fight event that will be live-streamed on Netflix. The entire fight card will be free for all Netflix users to enjoy the combat sport. Paul is claiming that he’ll be making $40 million from the high-anticipating fight against Tyson.
Paul disclosed the amount by stating “I’m here to make $40 million and knock out a legend’. He also claimed that this would be the biggest payday in his boxing career. Paul also added that there is a guaranteed payout of the event that will be included in the payout.
The official payouts will be announced after the event. Netflix has a 250 million user database and Paul vs Tyson event will be in the AT&T stadium in Arlington, Texas which has a capacity of 75,000 fans in the arena. This will be one of the biggest boxing event in boxing history.
Tyson will be generating at least $20 million from his fight against Paul and it could be more according to reports. The entire purse of the event will be around $80 million. Paul vs Tyson will be in the heavyweight division. In the co-main event of the night Katie Taylor will be challenging Amanda Serrano for the Undisputed women’s super-lightweight title.
