New Delhi: Arundhati Reddy produced a magical spell during the Australia women vs India women 3rd ODI match at Perth on Wednesday rattling the Aussie batters with her classical bowling. Reddy, in her 10-over spell, claimed a four-fer giving away just 26 runs to push the Australian side against the wall. Reddy was exceptional against the quality batters of Australia as she removed the top 4 batters of side.
Phoebe Litchfield was her Arundhati’s first victim as she got rid of the Aussie opener after she became set on the crease. Among her other victims were Georgia Voll, Ellyse Perry and Beth Mooney as the Indian bowler was successful in getting rid of the biggies in the line up. During her spell, Reddy bowled a magical delivery to dismiss the dangerous Perry on just 4 runs.
The second ball of the 15th over proved out to be an sensational inswinger which Perry attempted to play but was left completely deceived. As soon as the delivery left the hand of the Indian bowler, it swung towards the middle stump and the Aussie batter failed to make a connect to it and lost her wicket. She attempted a powerful straight drive but was left stunned later on how the ball missed her bat and went straight on to the middle stump.
