PKL 11 top raiders and top defenders: Most raid and tackle points after match no.110

New Delhi: Patna Pirates defeated Tamil Thalaivas by 42-38 in the first match of the evening on Friday, while in the second match of the evening, Puneri Paltan beat Bengaluru Bulls by 56-18 at the Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune on December 13.

In the first match, Devank and Ayan produced a stunning performance. Devank scored 12 points and Ayan secured 13 points while Shubham Shinde also registered a High 5. Moein Shafaghi scored 11 points and Sachin picked up 8 points for the Thalaivas.

Devank and Ayan helped the Pirates to take a 3-point lead within the first few minutes. They dominated the early exchanges to put pressure on the Thalaivas. Devank scored crucial points as his team inflicted an All Out on the Thalaivas midway through the first half. At half-time, the Pirates were leading the match by five points. Nitish Kumar scored quick points as the Thalaivas looked to make a comeback in the match. Devank completed his 10th Super 10 and gave his team a big lead. Sachin led the fightback for the Thalaivas.

Moein Shafaghi and the defensive unit, though, were looking to mount a comeback. Sachin was chipping in with a few crucial raids as well. At the half-time break, Patna Pirates led 20-15. Early in the second half, Nitesh Kumar’s quick raid accounted for Ayan and Tamil Thalaivas threatened to turn the game on its head. The Thalaivas defenders kept Patna Pirates’ star raiders Devank and Ayan at bay. Tamil Thalaivas inflicted an All Out on the Pirates as Moein Shafaghi registered a Super 10. But the Pirates maintained the five-point lead and won the match.

In the second match of the evening, Puneri Paltan dominated the match against the Bengaluru Bulls. The Paltan moved to the seventh position after the massive victory.
