Rohit Bal, fashion designer, cremated at Lodhi Road crematorium in Delhi Rohit Bal dies: Friends and admirers of Rohit Bal gathered alongside his family to pay their final respects to the designer who played a pivotal role in bringing Indian fashion to the global stage. Bal, one of India’s most celebrated fashion designers, died on November 1 at a south Delhi hospital following a heart attack at the age of 63. He was cremated at the Lodhi Road crematorium today (November 2).
