WATCH – Shikhar Dhawan gives water bottle to fan in stands after being hit by ball

New Delhi: Former Indian batter Shikhar Dhawan has never failed to win hearts of the cricket fans with his ostentatious personality off the field. His jovial nature with his teammates and gratitude toward human beings is something that keeps him special in the mind of cricket fans.

Dhawan recently participated in the Big Cricket League 2024 held in Surat. The Delhi-based batter was seen leading the Northern Challengers team in the six-team competition.

In one of the videos that has been surfacing on social media platforms, Dhawan was captured attending an injured cricket fan in the stands after he was hit by a ball from the opposition batter. When the ball was dispatched into the stands between the match, a young fan was hit on the chest.

Though it didn’t seemed a serious blow, Dhawan ensured to check on the spectator. He stepped into the stand where the injured fan was presented and just few steps below from there, he threw a water bottle for him. A couple of hand gestures followed up to enquire about his condition before the retired cricketer left the stand with the officials from the organising team accompanying him.
