New Delhi: Stephen Curry set a new record in the NBA as he attempted eight 3-pointers and was successful in every shot he attempted against the Philadelphia 76ers at the Chase Centre on Friday, January 3. Curry scored 30 points and 10 attempts in the match.
Curry became the first player to score at least eight-for-eight from the 3-pointer line and also made 10 assists in the match. It was the 12th time in Curry’s career that he made 100% from the 3-pointer range in the NBA.
In the first half, Curry made 6 consecutive 3-pointers and finished the first half with 24 points. Early in the second half, he completed his 30-point mark and put Warrior’s lead up to 30 points and then left the game before the fourth quarter of the match.

It was Curry’s sixth 30+ point game of this season and recorded his 296th game of his NBA career. Warriors won the match by 139-105 and moved to 10th place in the Western Conference.

Lebron James also recorded his 30+ point game against the Portland Trail Blazers. Los Angeles defeated the Trail Blazers by 114-106. Max Christie also scored his career-high score of 28 points in the match.
The Oklahoma City Thunder extended their winning run as they defeated the LA Clippers with a 116-98 in their home. Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets stunned the Milwaukee Bucks as they defeated them by three points.
Jayden Ivey suffered a nasty injury against Orlando Magic as the medical team took him off from the court on a stretcher. However, the Pistons defeated the Magic by 105-96.
