New Delhi: WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax was set to defend her title against Naomi at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona on January 4, Saturday. Noami kicked started the match by attacking Jax with her kicks but Jax counter-attacked her with a headbutt.
Jax threw Naomi to the ring post and then lifted her up and slammed her into the middle of the ring. Noami climbed up to the second rope and landed a leg drop on Jax but Jax didn’t move and threw again to the ring post.
Jax was dominating the match and attempting a Samoan drop but Noami reversed the attack and went for the cover. Jax kicked out and stood up on her feet.
Tiffany’s music hit and she ran to cash her briefcase but the Referee was distracted and Stratton attacked Naomi with her MITB briefcase and then Jax went for the cover and retained her title.
Bianca Belair entered the ring and kicked out Noami from the ring. Stratton attacked Jax with her MITB briefcase and threw Candice into the post. Belair hit her signature move KOD to Jax and immediately Stratton took advantage and threw Bianca out of the ring.
Stratton cashed her briefcase and landed a Prettiest MoonSault Ever and won the match. She became the sixth woman to successfully cashed her MITB briefcase and became the women’s champion.
