New Delhi: The juggernaut of News9’s Indian Tigers and Tigresses football initiative continued to roll on as the nationwide hunt for India’s young superstars reached Palakkad, Kerala. After successful trials in Delhi, Punjab (Ludhiana), Karnataka (Bengaluru) and Maharashtra (Mumbai), the Kerala leg of the football trials set a new benchmark with an unprecedented turnout of kids.
Over 1,000 young footballers from the Palakkad district showcased their incredible talent and skills to mesmerise the organisers and the scouting team. The young kids showed outstanding quality and proved why Kerala is a major football hub in India.

The best performers from both categories (12-14 and 15-17) advanced to the next stage and inched one step closer to a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to train with the best in the business in Austria.
The selected kids will be amongst a total of 400 boys and girls who will train and compete at a two-day camp in Delhi, out of which 32 boys and girls will be selected and sent to Austria, with a select few also earning a fully paid scholarship at Sudeva Delhi FC, owned by Delhi Soccer Association president Anuj Gupta.
