New Delhi: UFC Former double champion Henry Cejudo will be making his return to the octagon as he will take on Song Yadong in the UFC Fight Night event at the Climate Pledge Arena on February 23, Sunday. The fight will be in the bantamweight division and the contest will be against number 7 and 8 ranked fighters in the division.
Cejudo is coming into the fight with two consecutive losses. He lost his last two fights via decisions against Merab Dvalishvili and Aljamain Sterling. Cejudo is making his return after a year as he fought his last bout in February 2024.
Meanwhile, Song also faced a defeat in his last bout against Petr Yan via decision. He is also making his way to the octagon after 11 months and will look to get back in the winning column.
In the co-main event, the middleweight contenders will be against each other as Brendan Allen will take on Anthony Hernandez. Hernandez will be looking to enter in the top 10 rankings. Rob Font couldn’t make the weight before the fight and now he will battling against Jean Matsumoto in the catchweight division.
