New Delhi: Hardik Pandya has claimed all the spotlight ever since India became victorious on June 29, beating South Africa in the T20 World Cup 2024 final and lifting the prestigious trophy to end India’s trophy drought. Pandya, who was posed as a villain during the IPL 2024 turned the tables for himself as he shut out his critics and the fans who booed him at the different grounds across the country, turning the jeers into cheers.
Hardik’s Mumbai Indians’ (MI) teammate and close friend, Ishan Kishan posted a cheerful video on his Instagram handle meeting the all-rounder and congratulating him for his performance and efforts put in for India’s victory. Kishan went to Hardik who was seen sitting on a sofa and climbed onto him while hugging and followed it with showering kisses on the Baroda lad. Even Hardik asked for a kiss on the other side of his cheek. The video is garnering a huge number of views as fans are loving the “bromance” between the two and the chemistry that they share on and off the field.
“You faced so many things these past few months yet you stayed calm and focused. And today bhaiya you got the result of your hard-work, honesty and sincerity. There’s so much more i feel and want to say but words will fall short. You are a champion and you are rare,” Kishan wrote as caption.

Hardik produced a match-winning spell in the crucial final at a time when the game was slipping through India’s hands. He removed the dangerman Heinrich Klaasen first and got rid of David Miller in the tense final over to ensure India a thrilling victory. After his exploits in the final, he seems to have successfully redeemed himself, having tearfully said that he wanted to respond to the brutal trolls with his work and skillset.
Ever since he has returned home, praises haven’t stopped as fans seem to have forgotten what they were getting angered upon.

The Pandya brothers – Hardik and Krunal along with the latter’s wife Pankhuri Sharma and Kishan were seen at the “Sangeet ceremony” of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant held at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai. The quartet entered the ceremony as posed for the media that was present at the big fat Indian wedding. Videos of Hardik with Kishan have been making rounds on the internet.
