New Delhi: Former India captain MS Dhoni took to Instagram and penned a heartfelt message for newlyweds Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. In the message, Dhoni asked Anant to take care of his wife Radhika while congratulating the couple on their wedding.
The legendary Indian captain is not much active on social media platforms and this was only his second post after India’s T20 World Cup 2024 victory. His message for the couple came after Anant and Radhika tied the knot at the Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai. The former wicket-taker also participated in the pre-wedding events.
Dhoni shared a picture on Instagram where the bride Radhika was seen hugging him and Anant looked at him with a smile. His wife Sakshi and Businessman Mukesh Ambani are also featured in the photo.
“Radhika, may your radiant smile never fade! Anant, please continue to cherish and care for Radhika with the same love and kindness you show to everyone around you. May your married life be filled with happiness, laughter, and adventure. Congratulations and see you guys soon! Song is for Viren uncle” Dhoni wrote on Instagram.
Dhoni’s wife Sakshi also shared a wonderful picture with the newlyweds and wished them a lot of happiness. “Radhika and Anant, congratulations on your marriage! May your love continue to shine bright, just like Radhika’s smile and Anant’s kind heart. May you have a lifetime of happiness, laughter, and adventure together … lots of love and warmth always from us Dhonis” Sakshi wrote on her Instagram account.

T20 World Cup 2024 winning players Hardik Pandya, Yuzvendra Chahal, Suryakumar Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah were present at the wedding. Badminton star Saina Nehwal along with her husband Parupalli Kashyap also attended the wedding.
WWE superstar John Cena and FIFA president Gianni Infantino also made their appearance at the wedding. The newly pointed Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir along with his wife Natasha also attended the wedding.
