New Delhi: A good diet is all about balance and eating without guilt, it is necessary to maintain a good diet to stay healthy and happy, says Nayanthara. One of the most prolific actresses down South, Nayanthara is known for her versatility as well as impeccable looks. Taking to her Instagram, Nayanthara recently posted a detailed note on Instagram, expressing her commitment to “Embracing Nourishment.” along with her picture soaking sun and highlighting the importance of a balanced diet for a fulfilling life and sharing insights into her eating habits.

Nayanthara’s diet secret

She took to her Instagram and said that someone who loves to eat food and also has to maintain a balance between keeping the body fit for shoots and diet was always a word associated with restriction. On her Instagram, she wrote while sharing her diet plan that it is never too late to start and when balanced nutrients are consumed in the right amount and without any guilt it can help anyone get to the desired fitness goal.

She added, “A good diet is essential for a healthy and happy life, especially for someone like me, an actor who needs to look their best for every role. For me, staying in shape has always been about balance, consistency, and listening to my body. I used to think a ‘diet’ meant restricting myself and eating things I didn’t enjoy.”

The actress was hospitalised during her initial filming days due to restricting calorie consumption and focusing on a strict diet routine, however, with time she realised that restricting the body to consume foods and allowing it to starve is not a good idea to lose weight or stay fit.

The actress added, “Now, I know it’s not about counting calories; it’s about counting nutrients and eating a variety of foods in the right amounts. This is a lifestyle, not a temporary fix.”

In the post, the actress also thanked her nutritionist Mumum Ganeriwal for helping her throughout the journey with the day plan to stay fit and eat the right nutrients that are required by the body for a healthy you. The personalised food plan by the nutritionist helped her fall in love with homemade food and embrace the goodness of counting nutrients and not calories.

The actress concluded by emphasising that diet is crucial to our overall well-being. She stated, “I believe that our food choices have a profound effect on our health. By sharing my experience, I hope to encourage you to embrace a healthier lifestyle. Over the next few weeks, I’ll share how I manage my busy days and the joy and nourishment that come from eating well.
