Telangana: Seven-month pregnant woman, unborn baby die in road accident in Medak

A seven-month pregnant woman along with her unborn baby died in a horrific road accident on National Highway-44in Manoharabad mandal of Medak district in Telangana on Wednesday, Tv9 telugu reported.

According to the police, the woman and her husband from Mirdoddi mandal, left Manoharabad for Dandupalli on a two-wheeler and while crossing the national highway, a speeding lorry from Tupran hit them, resulting in the death of the woman and her unborn baby on the spot.

Locals came to their assistance and shifted the severely injured husband to the hospital nearby for treatment.

Police reached the accident site and started investigation and are reviewing the CCTV footage in the area.

21-year-old woman dies by suicide:

Meanwhile, in a separate incident in Hayathnagar area of the city, tensions boiled over due to the death of a woman by suicide. Divya Ramavath, 21, who is married to an auto driver, Siva Ramavath, reportedly died by hanging herself in the house due to family issues. They have a 6-month-old daughter.

Divya’s relatives said that they suspect a murder and asked the police to investigate the case thoroughly. They protested in front of the Hayathnagar police station and some of the relatives tried to attack Shiva. The police used force to disperse the crowd and brought law and order situation in the area under control.
