Wayanad : Horrifying details are emerging from Wayanad following the three massive landslides reported near Meppadi and Chooral Mala region. Health minister Veena Vijayan has informed that 43 people have died and nearly 300 families have been stuck in various parts of the hilly district.
Six dead bodies have been taken to the various private hospitals in Wayanad and other dead bodies were taken to the govt hospitals.
It was heartbreaking news that arrived from the wee hours of the day when three landslides were reported in Wayanad in the Kalpatta region.
“We are taking stock of the current situation. CM has directed to ensure all facilities are available in the various hospitals in wayanad”, said Health minister Veena George to the media.
