New Delhi: Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) season 11 auction was a historic day in Indian Kabaddi. Eight players were bought for over Rs. 1 crore and many young talents found themselves a franchises. Look at the top stars who will make their mark in the upcoming PKL season.
Pardeep Narwal
Pradeep Narwal is the most successful raider in the PKL history with over 1690 raid points in 170 matches. Narwal was known as ‘The Dubki King’, he was included in many records like being the first player to cross 1000 raid points in PKL history. Narwal was bought by Bengaluru Bulls for season 11 and his coach Randhir Singh Sehrawat showed faith in him and said fans will see a new Pardeep in the PKL.
Fazel Atrachali
Bengal Warriorsz bought Atrachali in the PKL 11 auction for Rs. 50 lakhs. Fazel has been a consistent performer in PKL, he was the skipper of Gujarat Giants in the previous season but Giants released him before the auction. Fazel has been perfect in the left corner and has over 486 tackle points in the PKL history, Fazel is the most successful defender in the PKL and has been a part of two title-winning teams. He was part of U Mumba in season 2 and Patna Pirates in season 4.
Sachin Tanwar
Sachin Tanwar was the most expensive player in the PKL auction 11, he was bought for a whopping Rs. 2.15 crores by Tamil Thalaivas. Tanwar has been a consistent performer in previous seasons, he was exceptionally well in raids and now leads the Raiders pack of the Thalaivas franchise.
Jang Kung Lee
The Korean star is now back in PKL after four long years, he was bought by Patna Pirates for Rs. 17.5 lakhs. Lee played six PKL seasons with the Bengal warriorsz, he was the most expensive pick in the fifth season when the Bengal team retained him for Rs. 80.3 lakhs and now looks to replicate his previous season performances to PKL season 11.
