“A video that went online recently caught my eyes. The crying voice of a rickshaw driver brother’s child in the anti-discriminatory student movement after his father was killed has made me think again and again. I vowed to stand by my brother’s family. I promised that I will hand over the money for the ‘Man of the Series’ award in Pakistan,” he wrote in the post.
“Finally, that goal is fulfilled. I was able to hand over this money to them yesterday. I know, this means nothing compared to the lost life. I will be glad if I am able to make their life a little easier.”
He will next be in action against India in a two-Test series that begins from September 19 at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium.
