New Delhi: Despite the fact that the Giallorossi have lost their first four Serie A games, the club legend and manager Daniele De Rossi merely signed a contract extension until 2027 a few months prior. According to sources, the Giallorossi have already made contact with a few potential successors, including Pioli, the former coach of Milan.
De Rossi had an excellent start to his Roma managerial career. Roma had only one loss in his first 11 league games, collecting 26 of a potential 33 points. Roma moved up to sixth place in the table after that run.
However, this season hasn’t quite gone the way Giallorossi would have wanted as so far, Roma are yet to win a game in Serie A 2024/25 season. Last month, Roma suffered a home loss to Empoli and after Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Genoa, Roma are now sitting 16th in the Serie A rankings.
Roma manage to find De Rossi replacement
Roma have already gotten in touch with former Torino manager Juric and former Borussia Dortmund strategist Terzic, even though they are not the only candidates on the table for the Serie A team. One of their top priority was Stefano Pioli who is now having his talks with Saudi club Al Nassr, trying to reach to an agreement.

However, now it has been confirmed that former Torino head coach, Ivan Juric will be taking charge of the team as he succeeds De Rossi as their head coach. There is an option for Roma to extend his contract till June 2026 in case Roma qualify for Champions League 2025/26 this season.

In order to replace Daniele De Rossi, Roma had also previously approached Stefano Pioli as coaches; however, the former Milan manager is currently “checking in” for Al-Nassr. On Wednesday morning, Roma abruptly fired De Rossi, their head coach.
