New Delhi: The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is the ninth edition of the 50-over global event organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC). This time the tournament is scheduled from February 19 to March 9 in Pakistan and United Arab Emirates.

Pakistan are the defending champions of the 2017 edition after prevailing over arch-rivals India in the final. The tournament also makes it return to the international cricket fold after eight years. A total of eight teams will participate and 15 matches are scheduled in the shortest tournament of the ICC.

Pakistan are guaranteed to host 10 matches of the tournament and all the matches played by the Indian team will be staged in Dubai (UAE), including the semifinal and final only if Rohit Sharma & Co will qualify.

ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Format & Groups

There will be a total of two groups in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 with each group consisting four teams. Two teams with the most points will advance to the semifinals of the event followed by the best two teams battling for the title in the grand final match on March 9.
