Andhra Pradesh Election 2024: Chandrababu Naidu calls PM Modi, Amit Shah after poll win

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday called Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Amit Shah to congratulate them both, Tv9 telugu reported.

A top TDP source told the channel that Naidu is with the NDA alliance.

Meanwhile, sources said that former CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has sought time from the Governor at 4pm to tender his resignation.

Meanwhile, TDP is leading in 16 Lok Sabha seats out of 25, YSRCP in 4, BJP in 3 and Jana Sena in 2 seats. Rammohan Naidu (Srikakulam) leads by 1,81370, Kesineni Chinni (Vijayawada) by 1,82,630 votes, Pemmasani Chandrasekhar (Guntur) by 1,79,824 votes, GM Harish (Amalapuram) by 1,65,178 votes, Sribharat (Visakhapatnam) by 1,62,181, Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy (Nellore ) by 1,14,097 votes, Anantapur 1,01,352 are heading towards a huge lead.

Daggubati Purandeshwari, who contested from Rajamahendravaram seat for BJP, has a lead of 2,19,688 votes. In Narsapuram, Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma is leading with 2,12,681 votes. In Anakapalli, CM Ramesh continues with a lead of 1,09,140 votes. On behalf of Janasena, Uday Srinivas (Kakinada) is leading by 1,10,237 votes.
