New Delhi: Anshul Jubli fought only three fights in the UFC but he has experienced the highest of highs and Lowest of lows in his career. Jubli became the second Indian to compete in the UFC and now he will become the first Indian to compete in two bouts in the UFC.

The Indian star made his debut in a ‘Road to UFC’ tournament and In his first fight, he knocked out Jeka Saragih and impressed everyone with his fighting skills. He also won the Performance of the Night bonus and won a cash prize of almost 44 lakhs.

Later, he won the tournament and earned a UFC contract to fight on the main roster. This was Jubli’s dream to fight in the UFC but in his debut main roster fight his dream turned into a nightmare as he was knocked out by Mike Breeden.

Jubli and Quillan Salkilld will battle against each other in the early preliminary fight card. The Australian fighter will make his debut in the UFC and it will be a great opportunity for Jubli to make a remarkable return to the octagon.

“I think he’s a good fighter. He’s a good, complete fighter,” he said.

“But I have more experience. I think my grappling is better. I have good hands. My hands, my boxing, is better, so I can dominate him in these areas where I’m good, and where he is good, I’ll not let him do his things.” Jubli added.

The 28-year-old fighter gave him a technical edge in the bout as he is more experienced than Salkilld and is better on feet and ground. Jubli is 7-1 in his professional career and if he loses again in the UFC his contract will be at stake.

Salkilld is unbeaten in his last six fights and also won the bout in Dana White’s contender series in 2024 to earn UFC contract.
