Arjun Singh and Aditya Singh, twin brothers, saw a dream together. A dream that was distant but not impossible. Born together, playing together, and now realising their dream together, Arjun and Aditya have come a long way from dribbling in the streets to sealing a trip to Austria for TV9 Network’s showpiece talent hunt programme Indian Tigers and Tigresses.

Beginning with 50,000 teenagers, the scouting process shortlisted 10,000 talented boys and girls from across the country. A whopping 16,000 schools took part in TV9 Network’s landmark initiative in eight scouting camps across major states in India. From the north to the south to east to west, the talent hunt covered all the parts, shortlisting 7,000 boys and 3,000 girls.

The journey witnessed the young guns undergo rigorous trials to prove their mettle. After the 28 kids who will travel to Austria to get further training and an opportunity to polish their dreams of representing India at the international level someday.

At just 14, they’ve already made a mark. The twins have been selected to play for Mumbai City FC and are now gearing up for an international stage.

Arjun & Aditya’s journey to Austria: Dreams & Dedication

Arjun and Aditya’s football journey started at the tender age of 3 years old. By 6, they were training at a Bandra club after making a rigorous journey of nearly three hours. Their parents have sacrificed vacations, festivals, and countless hours to support their sons’ football dreams, which are set to be realised in Austria.

Arjun and Aditya’s bond is their biggest strength as they play with an understanding only twins can have, making them a formidable duo on the field.

Singh family’s ultimate dream is to see their children play football for the country one day, and News9 Indian Tigers and Tigresses is the first big step towards the big goal.

Before taking the dream flight to Austria, the twins, along with the other selected kids, were given blessings by PM Narendra Modi, who met the 28 gems of Indian football at TV9 Network’s ‘What India Thinks Today 2025’ (WITT 2025) Global Summit in New Delhi on Thursday.
