New Delhi: Sediqullah Atal shined with the bat while Allah Ghazanfar produced a magical spell with the ball as Afghanistan beat Zimbabwe by 8 wickets in the third ODI at the Harare Sports Club to secure a series-clinching win. Afghanistan have sealed the series 2-0 as they had secured a victory in the second ODI as well and the first match of the series had no result.
Ahead of the ODI series, Afghanistan had sealed the T20I series 2-1 against the hosts. Meanwhile, Ghazanfar claimed a fifer while Rashid Khan picked up three wickets as Zimbabwe folded for just 127 runs in 30.1 overs. Azmatullah and Fareed Ahmad were the other two wicket contributors claiming one wicket apiece. For Zimbabwe, Sean Williams top-scored with 60 runs, doing the majority of the scoring while rest of the batters failed to make an impact.
