Avatar actress Sigourney Weaver to be honoured with Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement at Venice Film Fest

Hollywood veteran actress Sigourney Weaver who has been a part of several blockbuster projects across her career including “Gorillas in the Mist” as well as franchises like “Ghostbusters”, “Alien” and “Avatar” will be honoured with the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement at the 2024 Venice Film Festival. The fest will be held from August 28 to September 7. “I am truly honoured to receive the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement from the Biennale di Venezia.
