New Delhi: During the ongoing match between India D and India A in the Duleep Trophy, batter Tilak Varma stole the show with his blistering century on the third day on Saturday. India A were in commanding position in the contest, as the side led by Mayank Agarwal, set a 488-run target for the India D side.
Batting first, India A put 290 runs on the board and in reply, the Shreyas Iyer-led side stumbled for 183 runs. India A then powered their lead as Pratham Singh and Tilak Varma’s century forced India A to declare innings after 380/3 on the board. The knock meant a lot for Tilak as he missed the tour to Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka due to an injury.
