New Delhi: Jasprit Bumrah removed Travis Head on a seven-ball duck with peach of delivery in the ongoing Boxing Day Test match between Australia and India at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Thursday, December 26. Head who scored a brilliant hundred in the third Test looked a bit rusty in the first six balls he faced.
In the 67th over, Bumrah bowled a back-of-a-length delivery just outside off and Head lifted his bat but the ball moved a bit in the air and hit the top of the off-stump. In the very next over, Bumrah removed Mitchell Marsh on 4 runs and picked up his 24th wicket of the series. He surpassed his previous record of 23 wickets, which he took in the five-match Test series against England in 2021-22.

Jasprit Bumrah’s game-changing spell turned match in Team India’s favour
Australia got off to a great start after opting to bat first in the Boxing Day Test match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). Usman Khawaja and Sam Konstas stitched an 89-run partnership for the opening wicket. Jadeja removed Konstas on 60 runs who played great shots in the first session of the fourth Test.
After that, Usman Khawaja batted brilliantly and scored his half-century but Bumrah removed him on 57 runs. Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne stitched an 83-run p partnership for the third wicket. At one point, the hosts were looking to score more than 400 runs in the first innings but Bumrah and Sundar picked crucial wickets provided the Men in Blue a stunning comeback in the match as the hosts lost three big wickets in quick succession.
Sundar dismissed Labuschagne on 72 runs while Bumrah also dismissed Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh cheaply. Akash Deep also picked up his first wicket of the match and removed Alex Carey on 31 runs.
