Bhilwada: A shocking incident has come to light from Rajasthan’s Bhilwada district where a father crossed all limits of portraying disagreement against his daughter Priya’s wish for a love marriage. In an unorthodox way of expressing denial, he printed an invitation for a condolence dinner for her daughter on June 13.
The matter has emerged from Ratanapura village which comes under the jurisdiction of Mangrop police station the loving youth roped themselves into an inter-caste marriage and also to extreme resistance from his father, Bhairulal Lathi.
Bahirulal Lathi, who belongs to the Jaat community, vehemently opposed her daughter’s marriage to Kamlesh Jaat. Kamlesh is a resident of Bhilwada’s Danthal village.
As per media reports, Priya’s family fixed her marriage with Kamlesh while she was still a teenager. However, both families had some misunderstandings amongst them which eventually resulted in Priya’s marriage getting fixed to another man from Kanda village.
Priya Jaat absconded from her home on May 17 following which her mother Hemlata registered a missing complaint at the Hamirgarh police station.
The police officials informed that Priya turned 18-years-old on May 27, after which she married Kamlesh Jaat on June 1 in compliance with the traditions of Arya Samaj. Priya is now so adamant about living with Kamlesh that she even refused to identify her parents at the police station. The couple then left the police station and are currently living together.
Following this, Priya’s father was so outraged that he printed a remembrance invitation and sent it to everyone. The invitation says that as per Hindu traditions, customary rituals will run from June 1 to 12, while the remembrance dinner will be done on June 13.
