New Delhi: One of the much-awaited Test series in cricket is just a couple of days away from start. The cricketing stage is all ready to witness the enigma once again as the crucial Border-Gavaskar series starts with the first Test match between India and Australia at Perth in November 22. Both the cricketing powerhouses will battle it out for the coveted trophy, which has kept the cricket fans on their toes.
For India, it will be a crucial series in respect to the World Test Championship Final (WTC) as they will have to gain a minimum of four wins to get to achieve their goal. India would be aiming to become only the third team to win more that three consecutive Test series against the Aussies in Australia and also qualify for the WTC Finals.
Meanwhile, Australia will be looking for a complete turnaround this time with a dominant performance against the Rohit Sharma-led unit. Both the side have been practicing ahead of the series opener, which is at a venue that suits the pacers more than the batters. The remaining four Test matches will be played in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney, respectively.
