The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) on Saturday launched new strikes on Hezbollah positions in Lebanon, targeting the militant group’s infrastructure. According to the IDF, the operations aim to weaken Hezbollah’s capabilities, with at least 16 fighters reported killed in a strike on Beirut.
“The IDF (military) is currently striking targets belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organisation in Lebanon,” IDF said,
In a tragic update, Lebanon’s health minister confirmed that the death toll from an Israeli airstrike on a Beirut suburb has now reached 31, including seven women and three children. The escalating violence underscores the ongoing tensions in the region, as both sides brace for further conflict.
