BREAKING: Ryanair Boeing Flight Catches Fire Before Take Off At Brindisi Airport In Italy

An engine of the Ryanair Boeing 737-8AS flight 9H-QCB on Thursday, while the flight was on the runway and was about to take off at Italy’s Brindisi Airport leading to a major chaos at the airport. The pilot spotted the flames on the right engine and immediately aborted the take-off of the flight with nearly 200 passengers. Following the incident, the passengers on board the flight were evacuated through emergency evacuation slides immediately.

The Brindisi Papola Casale Airport (BDS) was temporarily closed due to this incident.

A spokesperson said, “Salento Airport had to close after a departing aircraft encountered a problem, requiring an emergency evacuation.”
