Budget 2025: Will ‘Modi Stocks’ be back in focus?

New Delhi: With Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman all set to present Budget 2025 in Parliament in February 1, 2025, the stock market investors are keeping their fingers crossed and hoping for announcement which could boost the investors’ sentiments.

Several stocks from sectors including infrastructure, real estate, defence, banking, Green Energy, Railway, Oil & Gas, Minerals, Energy, Insurance, Health, Agriculture and others will be in focus on the Budget Day. The investors are also expected to keep an eye on the ‘Modi Stocks’, which were in focus and rallied in the first half of 2024.

The ‘Modi Stocks’ term came into existence in 2024 after some of the Modi government’s policies had positive impact on several sectors which led to the rise of share price of several companies.
