Chennai-Kolkata Indigo Airlines flight gets hoax bomb threat emails; Police probe on

Chennai: Bomb threat to Chennai-Kolkatta Indigo Airlines flight on Monday morning. Threat sent by mail to Airlines office. After checks, the threat was declared a hoax. Yesterday, Chennai Airport received a hoax bomb threat. The IndiGo flight 6E-5314 from Chennai to Mumbai has received a bomb Threat.

Following this, the Chennai-Mumbai Indigo flight made an emergency landing in Mumbai. Notably, this was the second time within a week that an Indigo flight got a bomb threat. Four days ago, an Indigo flight made an emergency evacuation in Delhi following a bomb threat.
