Chennai: A 29-year-old man got electrocuted while setting up serial lights at his home in West Mambalam to celebrate his wife’s 25th birthday on Thursday. The couple got married eight months ago.
The deceased identified Augustine Paul (29) of Brindavanam Street was electrocuted in front of his wife while making arrangements of serial lights to celebrate his wife’s birthday. While connecting wires, he accidently struck by high voltage wire and fell unconscious and died instantly infornt of his wife. Augustin-Keerthi couple got married 8 months ago. Further investigation is underway, police said.
