New Delhi: Cristiano Ronaldo has done it again as he continues to deliver for his team, Al Nassr. In their league match against Al Khaleej, he scored both his 100th goal contribution for Al Nassr and also the 918th goal of his career. It was truly an outstanding strike from the Portuguese icon who was found by Otavio outside the penalty box of Al Khaleej and then he took his shot to beat the keeper and make it 1-0 in the 65th minute of the game. It was a much needed goal for Al Nassr who didn’t quite get their ground running in the first half.
The veteran scored his 12th as well as 13th goal of the season as it drew him levelled with the current league top scorer Aleksander Mitrovic in the golden boot race. He has been on fire this season, as he has managed to score 18 times in all competitions in 23 appearances for the club. Last season, the former Real Madrid goal machine had an astonishing 50 goals to his name in all competitions as he won the Saudi golden boot with 35 goals in the league, beating Mitrovic with a massive gap of seven goals.

Ronaldo is yet to win the Saudi Pro title despite his best efforts in the past two seasons, where he scored a mammoth number of goals. This season it is no different as he is looking to guide his side to glory with his abilities. Still going strong at the age of 39, it is just hard to believe what this man is capable of doing on the pitch. Al Nassr managed to win the match 2-1, as they did concede the equaliser late in the 80th minute when Olympiacos legend, Konstantinos Fortounis scored from the spot kick.
The score didn’t stay levelled for too long as Sultan Al Ghanam put Al Nassr back in front before Ronaldo added his final touch scoring his 13th goal of the season to make it 3-1 in added time that sealed the three points for Al Nassr.
