New Delhi: The Netherlands take on Turkey in the last quarterfinal of UEFA Euro 2024 in Berlin to book the last remaining place in the tournament’s semi-finals. Both teams come into the game riding high on confidence following convincing wins in the previous round and will be hoping to advance.
Turkey have finally lived up to their dark horse tag in UEFA Euro 2024 after miserable performances in the previous two editions. The only blip on their record is a 3-0 loss to Portugal as they’ve otherwise been a pretty solid team throughout. They will be without their star of the game against Austria as Merih Demiral has been suspended for two matches by UEFA.
The Netherlands put on a dominating display in their 3-0 win against Romania and will be hoping for more of the same as they looked their best in that game. Facing a higher quality option tonight, they will have to up their finishing skills as they were guilty of wasting quite a few chances in their game against Romania.
