Team India arrive in Kanpur

Earlier on Tuesday evening, Team India arrived in Kanpur amid a tight security arrangement for the final Test match of the series. The hosts, who initially looked down and out in the first Test match at Chepauk, bounced back on the second day in their first innings, with Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja slaughtering the opponents.

While India lost their mainstream batters, Ashwin and Jadeja took charge of the innings and proved their mark with sensational centuries setting the base for Team India in the Test match. While these two anchored the first innings, young sensational Shubman Gill and wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant proved their prowess in the second innings to put India in the driver’s seat.

The rest was taken care of by Ashwin who picked 6 wickets in the last innings to rattle the Bangladesh side and guide India to a fabulous win. The hosts would be eying for a series sweep with another dominant show in the second and final Test, before the beginning of the T20I series.
