New Delhi: The 2025 Formula One season has officially started as the celebration started at the O2 Arena in London in front of 15,000 fans as the ten teams celebrated the 75th anniversary of F1. Each team had seven minutes to reveal their liveries for the season. The show began with MGK’s performance before comedian Jack Whitehall took over to host the show.
The livery launch kicked off with Sauber, which included a performance with neon drumsticks. This was followed by Aston Martin, which launched with a James Bond theme. The defending constructor’s champions, McLaren, opened by looking back on some of the iconic cars that have won them glories on previous occasions.

Ferrari will be launching their SF-25 at Maranello on Wednesday, the livery is turning heads with a white rear wing and white front wing standing out. However, it was Lewis Hamilton stepping out in the Ferrari red along with team principal Fred Vasseur and Charles Leclerc that took away the spotlight.
Mercedes’s launch saw Toto Wolff and George Russell being joined by the grid’s newest driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli. Wolff congratulated F1 for the amazing feat of reaching 75 years of existence. Acknowledging the big history, Wolff and Russell both agreed that it was a new chapter for the team.

Whitehall turned out to be the perfect host for the show, as he took a dig at the George Russell and Max Verstappen “beef” from last season. He also turned to celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay to talk about the new misconduct rules. F1 for their part constantly highlighted the rich heritage that the motorsport has seen. Indeed this is the sport that has cradled the likes of Jim Clark and Ayrton Senna. The show also paid tribute to Scuderia Ferrari Grand Prix motor racing team founder, Enzo Ferrari.

Take that finished the show with some of their best hits ever. The focus will now shift to Bahrain where between February 26 and 28 the preseason testing will take place before the first grand prix in Australia on March 16th. 24 races to come in the calendar year where eight teams have a new driver pairing. If the season launch was any hint, then F1 2025 will be the one to watch out for.
F1 75 was the first time that all ten teams launched their car liveries in one event to mark the 75th anniversary of Formula One at the O2 Arena. Sports Sports News: Latest Cricket News, Cricket Live Score, Sports Breaking News from Sports Today
