He remained with the club from 2008 till 2022. “Maybe I’ll go back to football later and do something different. After 20 years of routine, I have lost interest in coaching”, this is what Pique had to say.
The Spanish veteran further claimed that he had to transform. He also said that playing for Manchester United and Barcelona every three days for many years eventually wears you out. The Spanish defender also added that his childhood ambition of playing at Camp Nou was fulfilled, and that he has wonderful memories. Pique further mentioned a potential comeback to FC Barcelona.
