New Delhi: If you are a HDFC Bank customer, then you won’t be able to use its services on July 13, 2024. HDFC Bank is conducting a system upgrade on Saturday, July 13, 2024. Therefore a lot of services will not be available till 3:00 AM on Saturday, 13th July 2024 to 4:30 PM on Saturday, 13th July 2024. However, Bank has permitted few services like UPI Payment and ATM Cash withdrawal. If you’re an HDFC Bank customer, here’s a breakdown of what services will and won’t be available during their scheduled system upgrade on July 13, 2024:
List of Available Services:
1. UPI Services:
The following services are available from 3:45 AM to 9:30 AM and 12:45 PM onwards:
Send and receive money
Merchant payment (QR or online)
Balance enquiry
Set or change PIN
2. ATM Services:
These following services are available from 3:00 AM to 3:45 AM and 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM
Cash withdrawal (with restricted limits)
Balance enquiry
Cheque book/statement request
Set PIN/change PIN
Mobile number update
SMS registration
3. Credit Cards:
All services including online transactions, PoS transactions, balance enquiry, set/change PIN, block/hotlist card. These are available throughout the upgrade period.
4. RuPay UPI Credit Card:
Scan & Pay and Online Payments available except through Mobikwik & Shriram Pay from 3:00 AM to 3:45 AM and 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM
5. Standing Instructions (SI) and Auto Debit Transaction:
New or existing SI via NEFT & RTGS
Existing SI for Account to Account and Account to Fixed Deposit (FD) completed before or after the upgrade
6. WhatsApp ChatBanking:
Registration and various services related to Credit Cards, Loans, and Merchants
Some services like Accounts, Deposit & Cheque services, and Profile related transactions not available from 3:00 AM to 4:30 PM
7. Prepaid Forex Cards & INR Cards:
Loading via HDFC Bank Debit Card (restricted limits during specified times)
International online e-commerce payments, PoS payments, ATM cash withdrawal, balance enquiry
8. FASTag:
Recharge via other bank Netbanking, HDFC Bank and other bank Credit Cards, other bank UPI
Transactions at tolls for HDFC Bank FASTag users
9. SmartWealth App:
Mutual Fund services like Redemption, Switch, Portfolio View, Reports, etc.
Some services like New User Registration, MPIN Reset, etc., not available from 3:00 AM to 4:30 PM
10. Phone Banking IVR:
Credit Card related services available; accounts & Debit Card related enquiries not available from 3:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Not Available Services:
These following services are not allowed during system degradation:
IMPS: Outward (Pay) & Inward (Receive) fund transfer
NEFT/RTGS (Outward): Payouts via NEFT/RTGS
NetBanking & MobileBanking: All services except those mentioned in the ‘Available’ column
Mini Statement, Enquiry/Billpay services, Cardless cash withdrawal
ECS, NACH, UPI, and NetBanking Standing Instructions
e-Mandate
Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AePS): All transactions (Onus & Offus)
Debit Card EMI and No-Swipe EMI transactions
Merchant & Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) Settlement for NetBanking
Loading of ForexPlus Card via HDFC Bank NetBanking
Loading of Corporate Prepaid Cards via NEFT/ e-CMS
Loading of the card via HDFC Bank NetBanking
Loading of the card via HDFC Bank UPI
