‘He won’t last six rounds’ fans react after Tyson Fury scale 127 kg in weigh-ins

New Delhi: Tyson Fury weighed way heavier in his fight against Oleksandr Usyk at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on December 22, Sunday. British boxer weighed over 127 kg, which is the heaviest weight in his boxing career. Fury weighed 125 kg in his fight against Deontay Wilder in 2020 and also the same against Francis Ngannou in 2023. This time Fury weighed heavier than ever in his boxing fight.

Fans have been questioning Fury about his overweight in the fight because against Wilder, his speed during the fight was questionable, and in his second fight against Ngannou, he went to the distance against who is making his professional boxing debut.

Fury is now 3.6 kg heavier than his recommended healthy weight according to his age and size. After weigh-ins, some fans are backing Fury as he will take only one and a half rounds to take Usyk out. But the majority of fans are concerned about Fury’s overweight.

“He won’t last six rounds with that weight and Usyk’s movement,” said one. Another added, “Usyk will dance rings around him at a trim 226 pounds.”

Remember when Tyson Fury weighed 273lbs and Wilder came in at 231 for their second fight, then Fury size bullied him and finished him.
